And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 and at night, will you not understand? 138
