Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138

Notes and Instructions
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
