We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
