We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
