And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
