We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Indeed, they were of Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
