We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
