Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
