We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And showed them the right path. 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
