Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
