We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
