We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
