Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
