Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And Elias (El Yaseen) was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
