Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
