And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
