THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
