Hizb 46

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 He abandoned his people 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was among the losers, 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? 149 or is it that We have created the angels female, and they [who believe them to be divine] have witnessed [that act of creation]? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 Does He prefer sons to daughters? 153 Woe to you! How terrible is your Judgment. 154 Why do you not reflect? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 shall not be able to tempt anyone away from Allah 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 "And we are truly those who stand in rows, 165 “And indeed we are those who say His purity.” 166 What, would they then say: 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 Yet (now that it is come) they disbelieve therein; but they will come to know. 170 And certainly Our word has already gone forth in respect of Our servants, the apostles: 171 that, verily, they - they indeed - would be succoured, 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 Watch them: they will soon see. 175 Do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 But when it descends into the open space before them, evil will be the morning for those who were warned (and heeded not)! 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 and watch. They, too, will watch. 179 Hallowed be thine Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they ascribe! 180 And peace be upon all His message-bearers! 181 and praise be to God, the Lord of all the Worlds. 182
Almighty Allah's Truth.
