Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 Recall what time he ran away unto a laden ship. 140 Then he joined the lots, and was of the condemned. 141 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would have stayed in its belly till the day the dead are raised. 144 ۞ We cast him out of the fish unto dry land and he was sick. 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 And We sent him (on a mission) to a hundred thousand (men) or more. 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 Now ask thou them: are there for thy Lord daughters and for them sons? 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Lo! it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful! 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 Exalted is Allah above what they describe, 159 Not (so do) the Servants of Allah, sincere and devoted. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 And there is none of us but has an assigned place, 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 and, verily, we too extol His limitless glory!" 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 but they have rejected it, [the Quran] and they shall soon learn! 170 And assuredly Our word hath already gone forth Our bondmen, the sent ones: 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 And peace is upon the Noble Messengers. 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
