Hizb 46
< random >
And, verily, Yunus (Jonah) was one of the Messengers. 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 Then lots were drawn and he became of those who were pushed into the sea. 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God's limitless glory, 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick. 145 and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand, rather they exceeded. 147 And they believed; so We permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad SAW): "Are there (only) daughters for your Lord and sons for them?" 149 Or did We make the angels females, and they witnessed it? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 “Allah has begotten.” They are liars! 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 And they have appointed a relationship between Him and the jinns; and indeed the jinns surely know that they will be brought forth. 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 But as for you, and that you serve, 161 Can lead (any) into temptation concerning Allah, 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]. 165 we are they that give glory. 166 And indeed they used to say: 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 But they disbelieve in it (the Koran), but soon they shall know! 170 And, verily, Our Word has gone forth of old for Our slaves, the Messengers, 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 and that, verily, Our hosts - they indeed - would [in the end] be victorious! 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 See them and soon they shall see. 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. 177 So turn thou away from them for a little while, 178 And watch, for they will soon see. 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 And peace be on the Messengers! 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
