Hizb 46

And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 When he fled unto the laden ship, 140 And lots were cast (when a storm overtook them), he was rejected, (and thrown overboard). 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 And had he not been of those who [even in the deep darkness of their distress are able to] extol God's limitless glory, 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ but We caused him to be cast forth on a desert shore, sick [at heart] as he was, 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 and they believed. So We let them enjoy life for a while. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Pay heed! It is their slander that they say. 151 "God has begotten children." They are truly liars. 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or have you received some clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 God is far above what they attribute to Him, 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 And there is none of us but has an assigned place, 164 Verily we range ourselves in rows (as humble servants) 165 we are they that give glory. 166 They say, 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 then were we God's sincere servants.' 169 But (now that the Qur'an has come), they reject it: But soon will they know! 170 We decreed that Our Messenger servants 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 and Our host -- they are the victors. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 So turn thou from them for a while, 178 And watch (how they fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 179 Glorified be your Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they attribute unto Him! 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
