Hizb 46

And indeed, Jonah was among the messengers. 139 When he fled unto the laden ship, 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned: 141 Then a (big) fish swallowed him and he had done an act worthy of blame. 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand or more people. 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We create the angels females, while they were witnesses? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 “What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!” 154 What, and will you not remember? 155 Or have ye a clear warrant? 156 “Then bring forth your Book, if you are truthful!” 157 And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment]. 158 (They say): “Exalted be Allah above what they attribute to Him, 159 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 160 Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161 you shall tempt none against Him 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 [The angels say], "Every single one of us has his place assigned: 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 Verily, we (angels), we are they who glorify (Allah's Praises i.e. perform prayers). 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 Had we but an admonition as had the ancients. 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 Yet they disbelieve therein. Presently they shall come to know. 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 That verily they! they shall be made triumphant. 172 And most surely Our host alone shall be the victorious ones. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 And watch them and they shall see (the punishment)! 175 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 176 Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And see, for they are going to see. 179 Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say. 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
