Hizb 46

And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 when he ran away to the laden ship 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 Then the big Fish did swallow him, and he had done acts worthy of blame. 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 He would have remained inside its belly until the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Or created We the angels females while they were present? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 'God has begotten?' They are truly liars. 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Bring your Book, if you are truthful. 157 They have established a kinship between Allah and the angels; and the angels know well that these people will be arraigned (as culprits). 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 except for God's sincere servants. 160 So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, 161 Can mislead anyone away from Him, 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 As for us, there is none but has an appointed station. 164 and, verily, we too are ranged [before Him in worship]; 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 What though they would say, 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 "We should certainly have been Servants of Allah, sincere (and devoted)!" 169 Yet now (that it has come) they refuse to believe in it; but they will come to know soon. 170 Our Word had already preceded Our worshipers, the Messengers, 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 and that it is Our host that would certainly triumph. 173 So turn thou aside from them for a season. 174 And wait; they will come to know soon. 175 So are they being impatient for Our punishment? 176 When it comes down on their plains, it will be an evil dawn for those who had been warned. 177 Withdraw from them awhile 178 And watch (how they fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 179 Exalted be your Lord, the Lord of Glory, above what they attribute to Him, 180 And peace be unto those sent (to warn). 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
