Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 He fled to the overloaded ship. 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned: 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 Had he not been of them who glorify Allah, 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; 145 and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him. 146 Then We sent him to a hundred thousand or more, 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Is it not of their own calumny that they say, 151 Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 Will you not then mind? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then bring ye your Book (of authority) if ye be truthful! 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 neither you nor what you worship 161 Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. 162 Save him who is to burn in hell. 163 None of us is there, but has a known station; 164 And most surely we are they who draw themselves out in ranks, 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 And they surely were wont to say: 167 'If only we had had a Reminder from the ancients, 168 "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!" 169 And yet, [now that this divine writ has been placed before them,] they refuse to acknowledge it as true! In time, however, they will come to know [what it was that they had rejected]: 170 And surely Our word has gone forth respecting Our servants, the messengers: 171 That verily they! they shall be made triumphant. 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 So turn thou from them for a while, 174 and see them; soon they shall see! 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 When it lights in their courtyard, how evil will be the morning of them that are warned! 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 and see [them for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
