Hizb 46

Jonah was certainly a Messenger. 139 When he fled unto the laden ship, 140 So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. 141 Then the big Fish did swallow him, and he had done acts worthy of blame. 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 he would indeed have remained in its belly till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead: 144 ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; 145 And We made a gourd tree grow over him. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 Then ask them whether your Lord has daughters and they have sons. 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Lo! it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152 Hath He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is amiss with you and your judgment? 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Bring your Book, if you are truthful. 157 And they have made between Him and the jinn a kinship whereas the jinn assuredly know that they are to be brought up 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 Save him who is to burn in hell. 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 "And we are verily ranged in ranks (for service); 165 and we glorify God". 166 And surely they used to say: 167 Had we but an admonition as had the ancients. 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 But (now that the Quran has come) they disbelieve therein (i.e. in the Quran and in Prophet Muhammad SAW, and all that which he brought, the Divine Revelation), so they will come to know! 170 And assuredly Our word hath already gone forth Our bondmen, the sent ones: 171 Most surely they shall be the assisted ones 172 and Our armies shall be the victors. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 And watch them, for they will soon see. 175 Our torment seek they to hasten on! 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 and see, soon they shall see! 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 And all praise to God, the Lord of all the worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
