Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 when he fled like a runaway slave onto a laden ship. 140 cast lots, and was among the losers. 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 And were he not one of those who praise. 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ But We threw him onto the open shore while he was ill. 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (folk) or more 147 and they believed, and We gave them enjoyment for awhile. 148 Now ask them if their Lord has daughters, and they sons? 149 Did We create the angels as females the while they witnessed?” 150 Then is it of their lying that they say: 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? 154 Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 And they have made between Him and the jinn a kinship whereas the jinn assuredly know that they are to be brought up 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 neither you nor what you worship 161 Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allah) anyone of the believers], 162 Except those who are predestined to burn in Hell! 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 "If we had had with us a Book like that of the people of old, 168 we would certainly be true servants of God." 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 Already has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us), 171 that they shall certainly be succoured, 172 And that Our host, they verily would be the victors. 173 So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time. 174 Watch them: they will soon see. 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 So turn away from them for a time 178 And watch; they will come to know soon. 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And Peace on the messengers! 181 And all praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.
