Hizb 46

Jonah, too, was one of the Messengers. 139 when he ran away to the laden ship 140 And then they cast lots, and he was the one who lost; 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 Had he not been one of those who glorify Allah, 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ So We cast him, sick, on a barren shore, 145 And We caused to grow over him a tree, a gourd. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (folk) or more 147 And they believed, therefor We gave them comfort for a while. 148 Then ask them whether your Lord has daughters and they have sons. 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What ails you then, how you judge? 154 Will you not, then, bethink yourselves? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 Except the slaves of Allah, whom He choses (for His Mercy i.e. true believers of Islamic Monotheism who do not attribute false things unto Allah). 160 for, verily, neither you [blasphemers] nor the objects of your worship 161 cannot mislead anyone 162 except him who shall roast in Hell. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 Verily, we (angels), we stand in rows for the prayers (as you Muslims stand in rows for your prayers); 165 we are they that give glory. 166 And there were those who said, 167 "If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples, 168 Surely we would have been the bondmen of God sincere. 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 And indeed Our Word has already gone forth for Our bondmen who were sent. 171 [That] indeed, they would be those given victory 172 And verily Our host! they are to be overcome. 173 Therefore turn away from them for some time. 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned. 177 Hence, turn thou aside for a while from them, 178 and watch. They, too, will watch. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 And peace be on the Messengers! 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
