Hizb 46

AND, BEHOLD, Jonah was indeed one of Our message-bearers 139 Recall what time he ran away unto a laden ship. 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ But We cast him, upon the shore, and he was ill, 145 And We grew a tree of gourd (as a shelter) above him. 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 or is it that We have created the angels female, and they [who believe them to be divine] have witnessed [that act of creation]? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 Will you not then mind? 155 Or have you, perchance, a clear evidence [for your assertions]? 156 Then bring your Book if you are truthful! 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 Hallowed be Allah from that which they ascribe to Him. 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 neither you nor what you worship 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 Save him who will go to hell. 163 "There is not one of us who does not have his appointed place," (declare the angels.) 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 What though they would say, 167 If we had the account of earlier people with us, 168 we would surely have been God's chosen servants," 169 But (now that the Quran has come) they disbelieve therein (i.e. in the Quran and in Prophet Muhammad SAW, and all that which he brought, the Divine Revelation), so they will come to know! 170 Already has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us), 171 that it is certainly they who will be helped; 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 Hence, turn thou aside for a while from those [who deny the truth,] 174 and watch them. They, too, will watch. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 and watch. They, too, will watch. 179 Purity is to your Lord, the Lord of Honour, from all what they say. 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
