Hizb 46

And Yunus was most surely of the apostles. 139 He abandoned his people 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned: 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 And had he not been of those who exalt Allah, 143 he would certainly have remained inside the fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 We made a plant of gourd grow up for him. 146 Then We sent him unto a hundred thousand, or more, 147 And they believed, whrefore We let them enjoy life for a season. 148 Now ask them whether your Lord has daughters, whereas they have sons. 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 'Allah has begotten' They are truly liars. 152 Does He prefer sons to daughters? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you form your judgement? 154 “So do you not ponder?” 155 Or have you clear evidence? 156 Then bring your scripture, if what you say is true. 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 you shall not tempt any against Him 162 Save him Who is to roast in the Flaming Fire. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 "And we are verily those who declare (Allah's) glory!" 166 And indeed, the disbelievers used to say, 167 If we had the account of earlier people with us, 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 And yet, [now that this divine writ has been placed before them,] they refuse to acknowledge it as true! In time, however, they will come to know [what it was that they had rejected]: 170 Our Word had already preceded Our worshipers, the Messengers, 171 Most surely they shall be the assisted ones 172 And that Our host, they verily would be the victors. 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 Watch them: they will soon see. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 So when it does descend in their courtyards so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned! 177 So turn (O Muhammad SAW) away from them for a while, 178 And watch (how they fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest)! 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 And peace be unto the sent ones. 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
