Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 He abandoned his people 140 He (agreed to) cast lots, and he was condemned: 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ But We caused him to be cast forth on to the beach, sick as he was, 145 And We caused a tree of gourd to grow above him; 146 And We sent him towards a hundred thousand people, in fact more. 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Or that We created the angels female, and they are witnesses (thereto)? 150 It is only because of their false invention that they say, 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is the matter with you that you make such strange judgements? 154 Will you not then mind? 155 “Or do you have some clear proof?” 156 Bring your Book, if what you say is true! 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 God is far above what they attribute to Him, 159 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 160 Therefore you and all what you worship. (The disbelievers and their deities.) 161 Can lead (any) into temptation concerning Allah, 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 We are surely those who are arranged in ranks. 165 “And indeed we are those who say His purity.” 166 Even though they (unbelievers) say, 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169 And yet, [now that this divine writ has been placed before them,] they refuse to acknowledge it as true! In time, however, they will come to know [what it was that they had rejected]: 170 for, long ago has Our word gone forth unto Our servants, the message-bearers, 171 will certainly be victorious 172 and that Our army will be triumphant. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 See them and soon they shall see. 175 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 And turn thou aside from them for a season. 178 and see; soon they shall see! 179 LIMITLESS in His glory is thy Sustainer, the Lord of almightiness, [exalted] above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 180 And peace be upon all His message-bearers! 181 And all praise unto Allah the Lord of the worlds. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
