Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the Envoys; 139 when he fled like a runaway slave onto a laden ship. 140 and cast lots, and was of the rebutted, 141 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on to the vacant surface of the earth while he was sick. 145 And We caused to grow over him a tree, a gourd. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 Now ask them whether your Lord has daughters, whereas they have sons. 149 Or did We create the angels females, while they were witnesses? 150 Lo! verily it is of their falsehood that they say: 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 "He has chosen daughters in preference to sons"! 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 Will ye not then receive admonition? 155 Or have ye an authority manifest? 156 Then produce your writ, if ye are truthful. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 Glory be to God above that they describe, 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 neither you nor what you worship 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 There is not one of us but hath his known position. 164 And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. 165 Lo! we, even we are they who hymn His praise 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 We would have been the chosen servants of Allah." 169 But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know. 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 will certainly be victorious 172 And that Our forces,- they surely must conquer. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 Watch them: they will soon see. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 So when it does descend in their courtyards so what an evil morning it will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And watch; they will come to know soon. 179 Hallowed be thine Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they ascribe! 180 So peace be on the messengers, 181 and all praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Universe. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
