Hizb 46

Jonah too was one of the messengers. 139 When he left towards the laden ship. 140 cast lots, and was among the losers. 141 The fish swallowed him up and he deserved (all this). 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him, upon the shore, and he was ill, 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 AND NOW ask them to enlighten thee: Has thy Sustainer daughters, whereas they would have [only] sons? 149 Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?" 150 Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say, 151 “Allah has begotten.” They are liars! 152 Has He (then) chosen daughters rather than sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you decide? 154 Will you not then remember? 155 Or have you clear evidence? 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 They assert kinship between Him and the angels. But the angels know that they (the liars) will be arraigned (in Hell). 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. 160 Lo! verily, ye and that which ye worship, 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 Except such as are (themselves) going to the blazing Fire! 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 Lo! we, even we are they who set the ranks, 165 and, verily, we too extol His limitless glory!" 166 And there were those who said, 167 "If only we had had before us a Message from those of old, 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 Yet now (that it has come) they refuse to believe in it; but they will come to know soon. 170 And verily Our word went forth of old unto Our bondmen sent (to warn) 171 That verily they! they shall be made triumphant. 172 and that Our hosts shall triumph. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 and see them [for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 But when it shall descend in their court, evil shall then be the morning of the warned ones. 177 Withdraw from them awhile 178 And wait, for they will soon see. 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 So peace be on the messengers, 181 And all praise is to Allah, the Lord Of The Creation. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
