Hizb 46

So also was Jonah among those sent (by Us). 139 When he fled unto the laden ship, 140 and sailed away in a laden ship, wherein people cast lots. Because he lost, he was thrown into the water. 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would have stayed in its belly till the day the dead are raised. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 and they believed in him: so We let them live in ease for a while. 148 So ask their opinion: “(Are you convinced) that your Lord should have daughters and you should have sons? 149 or is it that We have created the angels female, and they [who believe them to be divine] have witnessed [that act of creation]? 150 Is it not a lie invented by them when they say: 151 Allah hath begotten. Allah! verily they tell a lie. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What is the matter with you, how is it that you judge? 154 Will you not then remember? 155 Or do you have a clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 And they assert a relationship between Him and the jinn; and certainly the jinn do know that they shall surely be brought up; 158 God is too glorious to be described as they describe Him 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 can cause anyone to fall prey to your temptation 162 Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire. 163 (Those ranged in ranks say): "Not one of us but has a place appointed; 164 Verily we range ourselves in rows (as humble servants) 165 And we are they who exalt (Allah)' 166 And indeed, the disbelievers used to say, 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169 But when it came to them, they rejected it. They shall soon come to know (the end of such an attitude). 170 We have already given Our promise to Our Messengers 171 that it is certainly they who will be helped; 172 And most surely Our host alone shall be the victorious ones. 173 So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time. 174 And watch them, for they will soon see. 175 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 And turn away from them for some time. 178 And (then) see, for they too shall see. 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 Peace be with the Messengers (of God). 181 And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
