Hizb 46
< random >
And indeed Yunus is one of the Noble Messengers. 139 When he fled unto the laden ship, 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 Then the fish swallowed him, while he was blameworthy. 142 And had he not been of those who hallow Him, 143 he would have lingered in its belly till the Day they are resurrected. 144 ۞ We then put him ashore on a plain, and he was sick. 145 and We caused a pumpkin tree to grow over him. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand or more people. 147 And they believed, so We gave them provision till a time. 148 Now ask them (O Muhammad SAW): "Are there (only) daughters for your Lord and sons for them?" 149 Or that have We created the angels as females, while they were present? 150 Now surely it is of their own lie that they say: 151 'God has begotten a son.' They are certainly liars. 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will ye not then be admonished? 155 Or have ye a clear warrant? 156 Bring your Book, if you speak truly! 157 They have said that there is a relationship between Him and the jinn. The jinn certainly know that they will all be brought to suffer torment. 158 Glorified is Allah! (He is Free) from what they attribute unto Him! 159 but not so the true servants of God, 160 You and whatever you worship 161 Ye cannot excite (anyone) against Him. 162 Save him who is to burn in hell. 163 [All forces of nature praise God and say:] "Among us, too, there is none but has a place assigned to it [by Him]; 164 And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer]. 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 What, would they then say: 167 “If we had some advice from the earlier generations,” 168 We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones. 169 But (now) they disbelieve in it, so they will come to know. 170 And indeed Our Word has already gone forth for Our bondmen who were sent. 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 And surely, only Our army will be victorious. 173 So turn thou aside from them for a season. 174 And watch, for they will (soon) see. 175 Do they seek to hasten on Our Torment? 176 When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 and watch. They, too, will watch. 179 Too glorious is your Lord, the Lord of power, for what they ascribe to Him. 180 Peace be on the Messengers. 181 And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! 182
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
