Hizb 46
< random >
And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 And he drew lots and was among the losers. 141 then the whale swallowed him down, and he blameworthy. 142 Had he not been one of those who struggled hard, 143 He would certainly have remained inside the Fish till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ but We caused him to be cast forth on a desert shore, sick [at heart] as he was, 145 and caused a gourd tree to grow over him, 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (folk) or more 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 So inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Does your Lord have daughters while they have sons? 149 Or did We create the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Behold, it is one of their fabrications that they say: 151 "Allah has begotten off spring or children (i.e. angels are the daughters of Allah)?" And, verily, they are liars! 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 Then will you not be reminded? 155 Or is there for you a plain authority? 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 God is too glorious for what they ascribe to Him 159 except the servants of God, sincere and devoted. 160 But as for you, and that you serve, 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 Of us there is none but hath a station assigned. 164 We stand in ranks (for prayer) 165 We glorify God." 166 And indeed the disbelievers used to say, 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 we would have been sincere worshipers of Allah' 169 Yet they disbelieve therein. Presently they shall come to know. 170 Our Word had already preceded Our worshipers, the Messengers, 171 assuredly they shall be helped, 172 And that Our host, they verily would be the victors. 173 So, (O Prophet), leave them alone for a while, 174 and see, and soon they too shall see. 175 So are they being impatient for Our punishment? 176 When it descends into their courtyard, it will be terrible for those who have already been warned. 177 Stay away from them for a while 178 And watch and they shall see (the torment)! 179 Your Lord, the Lord of Honor, is too exalted to be considered as they describe Him. 180 And peace be on the apostles. 181 And all the praise and thanks be to Allah, Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 182
Almighty God's Truth.
