Hizb 46

And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 Recall what time he ran away unto a laden ship. 140 and cast lots, and was of the rebutted, 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 Now had he not been of those that glorify God, 143 He would have remained in its belly till the day when all will be raised. 144 ۞ Then We cast him on a desert shore while he was sick; 145 And We caused to grow up for him a gourdplant. 146 And [then] We sent him [once again] to [his people,] a hundred thousand [souls] or more: 147 And they believed, therefor We gave them comfort for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Have We created the angels as females before their very eyes? 150 Oh, verily, it is out of their own [inclination to] falsehood that some people assert, 151 "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] 152 Did He choose daughters rather than sons? 153 What aileth you? How judge ye? 154 Will you not then reflect? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Bring your Book, if you speak truly! 157 They link Him with jinns by lineage, yet the jinns know they will be brought before Him. 158 Purity is to Allah from the matters they fabricate. 159 Except His chosen creatures who do not. 160 So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship, 161 you shall not tempt any against Him 162 except those who will burn in Hell. 163 [The angels say], "Every single one of us has his place assigned: 164 we are those who stand ranged in ranks. 165 and we glorify God". 166 What though they would say, 167 If we had the account of earlier people with us, 168 we would certainly be true servants of God." 169 But they disbelieve in it (the Koran), but soon they shall know! 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 That verily they! they shall be made triumphant. 172 and that it is Our host that would certainly triumph. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 and see them; soon they shall see! 175 Do they really wish to hasten Our punishment? 176 When it descends on their courtyards, how terrible that morning will be for those who were warned! 177 Leave them alone for a while, 178 and watch. They, too, will watch. 179 Glory be to thy Lord, the Lord of Glory, above that they describe! 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
True are the words of God the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
