In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Saad, by the Holy Reading (Koran) of the Remembrance. 1 Nay! those who disbelieve are in self-exaltation and opposition. 2 How many a generation We have destroyed before them, and they cried out when there was no longer time for escape! 3 Now they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a lying sorcerer. 4 Maketh he the gods One Allah? Lo! that is an astounding thing. 5 And their leaders went about, “Leave him and cling steadfastly to your Gods! Indeed he has a hidden objective in this!” 6 We never heard of it in the former faith. It is surely a fabrication. 7 To him of all of us has the Reminder been sent down?" They are still in doubt about My admonition; but they have not tasted My punishment yet! 8 Or, have they the treasuries of the Mercy of your Lord, the Almighty, the Giving? 9 Have they control over heavens and earth and whatever [lies] between them? Then let them climb up to heaven by ropes: 10 This is just one of the disgraced armies, that will be routed there and then. 11 Before them the nations of Noah, Aad and Pharaoh, and he of the tentpegs belied, 12 And Thamud, and the people of Lout (Lot), and the dwellers of the wood; such were the confederates. 13 There was none of them but called the apostles liars, so just was My retribution. 14

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
