S (Saad)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Suad, I swear by the Quran, full of admonition. 1 Nay! those who disbelieve are in self-exaltation and opposition. 2 How many generations have We destroyed before them. They called: 'The time is neither of escape, nor safety' 3 And they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves. And the disbelievers say, "This is a magician and a liar. 4 "Has he made the aliha (gods) (all) into One Ilah (God - Allah). Verily, this is a curious thing!" 5 And their leaders went about, “Leave him and cling steadfastly to your Gods! Indeed he has a hidden objective in this!” 6 “We never heard of this even in Christianity, the latest religion; this is clearly a newly fabricated matter.” 7 What, out of all of us, has the Remembrance been sent down to him (Prophet Muhammad)' No, they are doubtful about My Remembrance, no, they have not yet tasted My punishment. 8 Or do they [think that they] own the treasures of thy Sustainer's grace - [the grace] of the Almighty, the Giver of Gifts? 9 Or is it that theirs is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and what is between them? Then let them ascend by any 10 They will be one more army vanquished among the many routed hordes. 11 The people of Noah, Ad and the dominating Pharaoh had rejected Our revelations. 12 and the tribe of Thamud, and the people of Lot, and the dwellers of the Wood -- these were the confederates. 13 Each of them gave the lie to Messengers and My decree of chastisement came upon them. 14
