S (Saad)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
SAD. I CALL to witness the admonishing Qur'an. 1 No, the unbelievers exalt in their division. 2 How many a generation have We destroyed before their time [for this very sin]! And [how] they called [unto Us] when it was too late to escape! 3 Now these [people] deem it strange that a warner should have come unto them from their own midst - and [so] the deniers of the truth are saying: "A [mere] spellbinder is he, a liar! 4 “Has he made all the Gods into One God? This is really something very strange!” 5 Their leaders departed, saying, "Walk away! Hold fast to your deities. This is clearly a conspiracy. 6 “We never heard of this even in Christianity, the latest religion; this is clearly a newly fabricated matter.” 7 “Is the Qur’an which is sent to him, among us?” In fact they are in a doubt concerning My Book; in fact, they have not yet tasted My punishment. 8 Do they have the stores of the mercy of your Lord, the mighty and munificent? 9 Have they control over heavens and earth and whatever [lies] between them? Then let them climb up to heaven by ropes: 10 A defeated host are (all) the factions that are there. 11 Before them there have belied the people of Nuh and the 'Aad, and Fir'awn the owner of the stakes. 12 And the Thamud, and the people of Lut, and the dwellers of the wood; these were the confederates. 13 Not one (of them) but rejected the messengers, but My punishment came justly and inevitably (on them). 14
