And We have not created the heaven and the earth and all that is between them without purpose; this is what the disbelievers assume; therefore ruin is for the disbelievers, by the fire. 27 Shall We treat those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous good deeds, as Mufsidun (those who associate partners in worship with Allah and commit crimes) on earth? Or shall We treat the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), as the Fujjar (criminals, disbelievers, wicked, etc)? 28 (This is) a Scripture that We have revealed unto thee, full of blessing, that they may ponder its revelations, and that men of understanding may reflect. 29 And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 30 When there were shown to him at eventide lightfooted coursers 31 he said, 'Lo, I have loved the love of good things better than the remembrance of my Lord, until the sun was bidden behind the veil. 32 (Then he said): Bring them back to me, and fell to slashing (with his sword their) legs and necks. 33 We surely tried Solomon, and placed another body on his throne. So he turned to God 34 Saying: "O Lord, forgive me, and give me such a dominion as none will merit after me. You are the great bestower." 35 We made the wind subservient to him, to blow gently wherever he desired at his command 36 And the devils -- the builders and divers of all kinds, 37 And others fettered in chains. 38 We said: "This is Our gift, so give or withhold as you wish without reckoning." 39 Indeed an exalted position of nearness awaits him and an excellent resort. 40
