We have not created the heavens and earth, and what between them is, for vanity; such is the thought of the unbelievers, wherefore woe unto the unbelievers because of the Fire! 27 Or shall We make those who believe and do righteous deeds as the workers of corruption in the earth, or shall We make the godfearing as the transgressors? 28 (Here is) a Book which We have sent down unto thee, full of blessings, that they may mediate on its Signs, and that men of understanding may receive admonition. 29 We bestowed Solomon on David who was an excellent devotee, for he turned to God in penitence. 30 Behold, there were brought before him, at eventide coursers of the highest breeding, and swift of foot; 31 And he said: "Alas! I did love the good (these horses) instead of remembering my Lord (in my 'Asr prayer)" till the time was over, and (the sun) had hidden in the veil (of night). 32 Bring them back to me; so he began to slash (their) legs and necks. 33 And, indeed We did try Sulaiman (Solomon) and We placed on his throne Jasadan (a devil, so he lost his kingdom for a while) but he did return (to his throne and kingdom by the Grace of Allah and he did return) to Allah with obedience and in repentance. 34 saying, "Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom that no one after me can have the like. You are All-munificent". 35 So we subjugated the wind to his service which carried his merchandise wheresoever he wished; 36 And the devils -- the builders and divers of all kinds, 37 and others that were bound with chains. 38 “This is Our bestowal – you may therefore bestow favours or withhold them – you will not be questioned.” 39 And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return. 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
