Saad 3 of 5
And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them without purpose! That is the consideration of those who disbelieve! Then woe to those who disbelieve (in Islamic Monotheism) from the Fire! 27 Shall We make those who believe and do good deeds equal to those who spread turmoil in the earth? Or shall We equate the pious with the disobedient? 28 (This is) a Scripture that We have revealed unto thee, full of blessing, that they may ponder its revelations, and that men of understanding may reflect. 29 And We gave to Dawood Sulaiman, most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah). 30 Recall what time there were presented unto him, at eventide, coursers swift-footed. 31 He said: "The love of horses is worthy of desire to me for the remembrance of my Lord;" and when they were out of sight, (he said): 32 Bring them back to me' And he hacked their legs and necks (slaughtering them for Allah). 33 And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned. 34 He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower." 35 Then We subjected the wind to his power, to flow gently to his order, Whithersoever he willed,- 36 and all the devils who built and dived for him. 37 And also others bound in fetters. 38 “This is Our bestowal – you may therefore bestow favours or withhold them – you will not be questioned.” 39 In Our eyes he certainly has a high position and the best place to return. 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
