It was not in falsehood that We created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. That is the thought of the unbelievers. But woe to the unbelievers because of the Fire! 27 Should We equate those who do the right with those who spread corruption in the land? Should We make those who are morally integrated equal to those who seek disintegration? 28 We have sent down a Book to you which is blessed, so that people may apply their minds to its revelations, and the men of wisdom may reflect. 29 And We vouchsafed unto Da'ud Sulaiman. How excellent a bondman! verily he was oft-returning. 30 When there were brought to him in the evening (horses) still when standing, swift when running-- 31 he said: “Lo! I have come to love this wealth on account of the remembrance of my Lord.” And when the horses disappeared, 32 Return them to me!' And he began to stroke their shanks and necks. 33 And assuredly We tried Sulaiman, and set upon his throne a mere body. Thereafter he was penitent. 34 He said, 'My Lord, forgive me, and give me a kingdom such as may not befall anyone after me; surely Thou art the All-giver.' 35 We subjected the wind to him, so that it blew gently at his bidding, wherever he directed it, 36 and the Satans, every builder and diver 37 The rest of the devils were bound in chains. 38 [We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account." 39 And verily, he enjoyed a near access to Us, and a good final return (Paradise). 40
