We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without purpose, even though this is the belief of the disbelievers. Woe to the disbelievers; they will suffer the torment of fire 27 Should We equate those who do the right with those who spread corruption in the land? Should We make those who are morally integrated equal to those who seek disintegration? 28 It is a Blessed Book that We have sent down to you (Prophet Muhammad), so that those possessed with minds might ponder its verses and remember. 29 And We bestowed Sulaiman to Dawud; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 30 When fast footed steeds were presented to him at evening. 31 he would say: "Verily, I have come to love the love of all that is good because I bear my Sustainer in mind!" [repeating these words as the steeds raced away,] until they were hidden by the veil [of distance - whereupon he would command,] 32 (he ordered): “Bring these horses back to me,” and then he began to gently stroke their shanks and necks. 33 And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned. 34 He prayed, "Lord forgive me! Grant me such power as no one after me will have -- You are the Most Generous Provider." 35 We therefore gave the wind under his control, moving steadily by his command wherever he wished. 36 and also the jinn, every kind of builder and diver 37 and others chained in fetters. 38 This is Our gift, so bestow thou or withhold, without rendering an account. 39 And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return. 40
