Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 (And it was said unto him): Strike the ground with thy foot. This (spring) is a cool bath and a refreshing drink. 42 We restored his family to him, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder to all who are endowed with insight. 43 "Take a handful of herbs," (We said to him), and apply and rub them, and do not make a mistake." We found him patient in adversity, an excellent devotee, always turning in repentance. 44 And remember thou Our bondmen, Ibrahim and Is-haq and Ya'qub, owners of might and insight. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 And most surely they were with Us, of the elect, the best. 47 And remember Ismail and Yasa’a (Elisha) and Zul-Kifl; and they are all excellent. 48 This was a remembrance. An excellent retreat awaits the God-fearing 49 the Gardens of eternity with gates thrown wide open to them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And with them are those of modest gaze, companions. 52 This is what you, [the righteous], are promised for the Day of Account. 53 Our provision for you will never be exhausted. 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell, where they will burn, an evil resting-place. 56 This is for the criminals – so that they may taste it – boiling hot water and pus. 57 And other [punishments] of its type [in various] kinds. 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they will Say: what aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the evil ones? 62 Is it that we mistakenly made fun of them; or have they disappeared from our sight?” 63 Verily this is the very truth: the wrangling of the fellows of the Fire! 64
