Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 (We answered his prayer, healed his sickness, and told him), "Run on your feet. This is cool water (for you) to wash and drink". 42 And We bestowed upon him new offspring, doubling their number as an act of grace from Us, and as a reminder unto all who are endowed with insight. 43 And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with It and do not break your oath; surely We found him patient; most excellent the servant! Surely he was frequent in returning (to Allah). 44 Also, remember Our worshipers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those of might and vision. 45 Verily We exalted them in consideration of a sterling quality: their remembrance of the Abode of the Hereafter. 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 Recall Ismael, Elisha, and Dhulkifl (Ezekiel) who were all virtuous people. 48 This was a remembrance. An excellent retreat awaits the God-fearing 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 Wherein, reclining, they call for plenteous fruit and cool drink (that is) therein. 51 ۞ with them, they will have pure, modest women of an equal age. 52 All this is what you are promised for the Day of Judgement. 53 this, verily, shall be Our provision [for you,] with no end to it! 54 This: and verily for the exorbitant there shall be an evil retreat: 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 All of this; so let them taste it, boiling water and pus, 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 [And] they [who had been seduced] will exclaim: "Nay, but it is you! No welcome to you! It is you who have prepared this for us: and how vile a state to abide in!" 60 They shall say: Our Lord! whoever prepared it first for us, add Thou to him a double chastisement in the fire. 61 And will add: "O what has happened to us that we do not see the men we counted among the wicked. 62 Took we them so unjustly for a butt of mockery, or are they deluding our eyes? 63 Lo! that is very truth: the wrangling of the dwellers in the Fire. 64
