(Muhammad), recall Our servant Job. When he prayed to his Lord saying, "Satan has afflicted me with hardship and torment," 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 We gave him back his family and doubled their number as a blessing from Us and as a reminder to the people of understanding. 43 "And take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike therewith (your wife), and break not your oath. Truly! We found him patient. How excellent (a) slave! Verily, he was ever oft-returning in repentance (to Us)! 44 Remember also Our servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob -- men of might they and of vision. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 and, in Our sight they were indeed among the select, the truly good! 47 And remember Ishmael, Elisha and Dhul-Kifl, and all are among the outstanding. 48 This is a Reminder. The righteous shall have a good place to return to: 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 They will be resting therein and will be able to ask for many kinds of fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And beside them will be chaste women restraining their glances, (companions) of equal age. 52 This it is that ye are promised for the Day of Reckoning. 53 Lo! this in truth is Our provision, which will never waste away. 54 Yea, such! but - for the wrong-doers will be an evil place of (Final) Return!- 55 they will burn, in Hell, an evil resting place -- 56 all this will be theirs; let them taste it -- a scalding, dark, foul fluid, 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They say, 'Our Lord, whoso forwarded this for us, give him a double chastisement in the Fire!' 61 And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Such disputes will certainly take place among the dwellers of hell fire. 64

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
