1/2 Hizb 46
< random >
Remember Our votary Job because he called to his Lord: "Satan has afflicted me with disease and distress." 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We bestowed on him (again) his household and therewith the like thereof, a mercy from Us, and a memorial for men of understanding. 43 and, 'Take in thy hand a bundle of rushes, and strike therewith, and do not fail in thy oath.' Surely We found him a steadfast man. How excellent a servant he was! He was a penitent. 44 Remember Our votaries Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, men of power and insight. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 And indeed they are, to Us, among the chosen and outstanding. 47 Recall Ismael, Elisha, and Dhulkifl (Ezekiel) who were all virtuous people. 48 This was a remembrance. An excellent retreat awaits the God-fearing 49 Gardens of Eden with gates open wide to them, 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 'This is what you are promised on the Day of Recompense, 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 Hell!- they will burn therein, - an evil bed (indeed, to lie on)!- 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 And other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them! 58 Here is a multitude rushing headlong with you. There is no welcome for them. They will roast in the fire. 59 They will reply: “Rather, no welcome to you. (You will roast in Hell.) It is you who led us to this end. What an evil resort!” 60 They will say: our Lord! whosever hath brought this upon us, unto him increase doubly the torment of the Fire. 61 And they say: What aileth us that we behold not men whom we were wont to count among the wicked? 62 "Did we treat them (as such) in ridicule, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
