Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!" 41 [So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." 42 And We granted to him his family and also the like of them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to people of understanding, 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 And remember Our servants, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - those of strength and [religious] vision. 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 In Our eyes they were of the chosen, virtuous people. 47 And remember Isma'il and Al-Yas'a and Zul-kifl; all of the excellent ones. 48 This is a commemoration. Surely for those who take heed for themselves is an excellent place of return -- 49 #NAME? 50 Where they will take their ease, calling for fruits in plenty, and for wine, 51 ۞ And with them shall be those restraining their eyes, equals in age. 52 This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: 53 Most surely this is Our sustenance; it shall never come to an end; 54 All of this; but, for the proud there is an ill return. 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 Here is a boiling and an ice-cold draught, so let them taste it, 57 and other similar to it, joined together. 58 [Its inhabitants will say], "This is a company bursting in with you. No welcome for them. Indeed, they will burn in the Fire." 59 They will say to them, "You are not welcome! It was you who brought this on us, an evil place to stay," 60 They will say: our Lord! whosever hath brought this upon us, unto him increase doubly the torment of the Fire. 61 And they will say: "What has happened to us that we see not men whom we used to number among the bad ones? 62 Did we laugh at them (for nothing), or our eyes fail to pick them out?" 63 Surely that is true -- the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire. 64
