And make mention (O Muhammad) of Our bondman Job, when he cried unto his Lord (saying): Lo! the devil doth afflict me with distress and torment. 41 (We answered his prayer, healed his sickness, and told him), "Run on your feet. This is cool water (for you) to wash and drink". 42 We restored his family to him with others similar to them, as a blessing from Us and a reminder for men of wisdom. -- 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 And remember Our slaves, Ibrahim (Abraham), Ishaque (Isaac), and Ya'qub (Jacob), (all) owners of strength (in worshipping Us) and (also) of religious understanding. 45 for, verily, We purified them by means of a thought most pure: the remembrance of the life to come. 46 And most surely they were with Us, of the elect, the best. 47 Recall Ismael, Elisha, and Dhulkifl (Ezekiel) who were all virtuous people. 48 This is a reminder. And indeed, for the righteous is a good place of return 49 Gardens of perpetual residence, whose doors will be opened to them. 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for plenteous fruit and drink. 51 ۞ And with them will be women limiting [their] glances and of equal age. 52 This is what is promised you for the Day of Reckoning. 53 This is surely Our provision never-ending. 54 All this [for the righteous]: but, verily, the most evil of all goals awaits those who are wont to transgress the bounds of what is right: 55 Hell! Where they will burn, and worst (indeed) is that place to rest! 56 (They will be told), "This is your recompense. 57 and other such torments. 58 Their leaders will be told, "This band will also be thrown headlong with you into hell." Their leaders will exclaim, "May condemnation fall upon them! Let them suffer the torment of fire". 59 The followers will say, “In fact, for you! May you not get open space! It is you who brought this calamity upon us!” So what a wretched destination. 60 They say: Our Lord! Whoever did prepare this for us, oh, give him double portion of the Fire! 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 Did we take them as an object of mockery, or have (our) eyes failed to perceive them?" 63 Indeed, that is truth - the quarreling of the people of the Fire. 64
